These terms apply to your use of the Underhood site at underhood.video. Underhood is a product name of, and is operated by, Elowin Labs LLC ("we"); references to "Underhood" mean Elowin Labs LLC doing business as Underhood. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.

The site

The site presents the Underhood channel: what it is, the episodes made so far, and where to watch them. It is free, has no accounts, and comes with no service commitment: we may change or take down any part of it at any time.

The episodes

The episodes are short explainers made for a general audience. They simplify, and the figures in them are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of making, drawn from the sources the episode names; they are not financial, legal or engineering advice. Check anything that matters against the source.

Content and rights

The episodes, the artwork, the site's design and its text are ours. You may share links to them freely. Reproducing or reusing the episodes or the artwork beyond what the platforms' own sharing features allow needs our permission. Company and product names mentioned in an episode belong to their owners and are used to describe the system in question.

Acceptable use

Use the site only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not interfere with it. Do not scrape it at a rate that burdens it, and do not archive or mirror it (the site's robots policy says the same).

Other sites

The channel buttons lead to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, each under its own terms. Their availability and their handling of the episodes are outside our control.

Tips

The "Support the channel" link lets you leave a tip through Ko-fi. Tips are voluntary and non-refundable, buy nothing, and do not create any service commitment on our part. Ko-fi and Stripe process the payment under their own terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. THE SITE IS FREE; OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ZERO DOLLARS (USD 0).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida. If you live somewhere whose consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived, nothing here takes those rights away.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
